I’m a retired SEAL Officer – did 30 years in the Teams, left the Navy in 2005, was Director of the University of San Diego’s Master of Science in Global Leadership program from 2006-2011, and have been independent since then. If you want to know more about my professional background, let me send you to my LinkedIn site and my Fifth Factor Leadership site.
A resume or a bio provide background information, but don’t really tell much about who a person is. When I read my own, I don’t feel like they tell the important part of my story. On the other hand, the essays I write and post here should give you a better idea of who I am and how I perceive the world.
Hello Bob,
I hope you had a great holiday season. I saw this movie before the holidays and I thought of one your posts in Bob’s Corner. I think you might like Joanna’s approach…
Joanna Barsh: The myth of work-life balance
Stop trying to balance, says MIX Maverick Joanna Barsh. Instead, start managing your disequilibrium. The MIX (Management Innovation eXchange) is the world’s first open innovation project aimed at reinventing management. On the MIX, impassioned innovators from around the world are working together to create organizations that are as resilient, inventive, and inspiring as the people who work within them.
Cheers,
Marcio
